Melbourne Victory held at home by Perth Glory

A-League leaders Melbourne Victory are held to a 1-1 draw with Perth Glory.

Perth Glory have held Melbourne Victory to a 1-1 draw in the Australian A-League this morning.

Andy Keogh gave the visitors the lead shortly before the break when he steered the ball home via a deflection from Mark Milligan, despite replays showing the striker to be offside.

The home side restored parity just after the hour mark when Daniel Georgievski curled home, and Kevin Muscatt's league leaders pressed for a second, but found the visitors in stubborn mood at the back.

In a breathless finish to the game, Perth's Mitch Nicholls was given his marching orders against his former club when he picked up a second yellow for a lunge in stoppage time.

Ben Khalfallah almost grabbed a late winner for Victory when his run took him to the edge of the box, but the effort was beaten away by Daniel Vukovic in goal.
