Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray expresses his delight at the quality of the goals scored by Nicky Bailey, Adam Reach and Luke Williams in his side's 3-2 win over Burnley last night.

Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray was delighted with the quality of his side's goals during their 3-2 win over Burnley last night.

Nicky Bailey, Adam Reach and Luke Williams all netted from long range as Boro claimed their first win of the new season in style at the Riverside.

"Nicky struck his in from 20 yards but watching the last two goals back from Reach and Williams, it's good to see they've got that in their locker," said Mowbray.

"Reach has got a rocket in his left foot, he showed everybody that tonight. Luke Williams is a young guy who was in the team when I first arrived 18 months ago and through injury and lack of confidence he has drifted a little bit.

"But he scored quite a few goals in pre-season and it was a special night for him."

Next up for Boro is a home game against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
