Sports Mole looks ahead to Saturday's Championship clash between Cardiff City and Millwall.

Cardiff City have the opportunity to retain their five-point lead at the top of the Championship when Millwall visit the Welsh capital on Saturday.

A crucial victory against Crystal Palace on Boxing Day ensured that Cardiff remain favourites for automatic promotion and Malky Mackay has hinted that Aron Gunnarsson could return to the starting lineup.

Millwall have received a boost ahead of the trip to Cardiff with the news that Adam Smith will be available after the club won an appeal against his sending-off in last Saturday's defeat to Barnsley.

Recent form

Cardiff: DWWLWW

Millwall: WDLWDL

Possible lineups

Cardiff: Marshall, McNaughton, Taylor, Hudson, Turner, Whittingham, Conway, Noone, Gunnarsson, Helguson, Bellamy

Millwall: Forde, Shittu, Lowry, Beevers, Smith, Wright, Trotter, Henry, Feeney, Henderson, Wood

Sports Mole says: 3-1
