Preview: Millwall vs. Blackburn Rovers

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship meeting between Millwall and Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.

Neither Millwall nor Blackburn Rovers have yet secured safety in this year's Championship and the two meet on Tuesday for a game in hand on the sides around them.

For hosts Millwall it's one of two games in hand on the majority and a midweek win over Rovers will guarantee safety. The Lions sit five points clear of the drop zone going into the match after Saturday's drubbing> in Huddersfield.

Manager Kenny Jackett will be without left-back Shane Lowry, who is serving the second game of a three-match ban.

It's far more complicated for Blackburn who are just a couple of points clear of the bottom three.

They were also on the wrong end of a nasty scoreline on Saturday, going down 4-0 at promotion-chasing Watford.

Manager Gary Bowyer could welcome back Jason Lowe after he missed out on the trip to Vicarage Road with a hamstring problem.

In the reverse fixture it was Millwall who claimed victory at Ewood Park by two goals to nil.
