Former Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero is reportedly on the verge of signing for MLS club Montreal Impact.

Juventus veteran Alessandro del Piero is reportedly in talks with Montreal Impact over a switch to the MLS.

The former Juve captain is currently unattached and has attracted interest from across the globe.

Montreal are believed to have met with Del Piero in the past about ending his career in the MLS.

Swiss club Sion announced their interest in signing the 37-year-old yesterday but it seems that they have been beaten to his signature by the Impact.
