Guus Hiddink has reportedly stepped from his position as head coach of the Netherlands.
The 68-year-old only replaced Louis van Gaal following the conclusion of last summer's World Cup, but under his guidance, the Oranje have struggled to find consistent form.
His tenure started with three defeats in four outings and while results have improved of late, the recent 4-3 friendly defeat at the hands of the USA was the final straw, according to De Telegraaf.
It had previously been confirmed that Hiddink would leave his role at the end of Euro 2016, when he would be succeeded by Danny Blind.
However, the report adds that Blind will now be given the job with immediate effect, with confirmation expected in the next 24 hours.
