Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew reportedly wants to recall defender Jamaal Lascelles from his loan spell at Nottingham Forest in January.
The Magpies signed Lascelles and keeper Karl Darlow from Forest during the summer for a fee in the region of £7m, and then sent the duo back on loan to the Championship club.
Pardew's side's struggles at the back this season have led the 53-year-old to reconsider his options, and he is prepared to let Steven Taylor take Lascelles' place at Forest should the 20-year-old return to St James' Park, reports The People.
Newcastle registered their first Premier League win of the season on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Leicester City.
