Levante sign Rafael Martins

Levante sign Rafael Martins on a free transfer from Brazilian side Audax Esporte Club.

Levante have signed Brazilian forward Rafael Martins on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old, who has spent the majority of his career with Audax Esporte Club on loan, scored 15 times in 28 games for Portuguese outfit Vitoria Setubal last season.

A number of clubs had been linked with a move this summer, but Levante moved quickly to sign the striker on a three-year deal.

Martins has previously played in Spain – representing Real Zaragoza B during a loan spell in the 2009-10 campaign.
