Stephen Keshi: Nigeria team spirit is "very high"

Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi reveals that the team spirit within the Nigeria camp is "very high" ahead of their first World Cup match against Iran on Monday evening.

Coach Stephen Keshi has spoken positively about the mood in the Nigeria camp ahead of their World Cup match with Iran on Monday evening.

Nigeria have finished bottom of their group in their last two appearances at a World Cup finals, but Keshi has revealed that the team spirit is "very high" as they look to register three points against Iran.

The 52-year-old told reporters: "The team spirit is very high and the togetherness is very good. What I have seen on and off the pitch is very good.

"I just hope that when they take to the pitch, they can do what they know how to do best."

Keshi saw Argentina move to the top of Group F with a 2-1 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina on Sunday evening.
