Alex Neil eyes Norwich City survival

Norwich boss Alex Neil insists that the Canaries will not give up their Premier League status easily next season.

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has insisted that his side will fight to ensure that they don't fall to an immediate return to the Championship next season.

The Canaries bounced back into the Premier League at the first time of asking last season, recovering from relegation in the 2013-14 campaign to go up via the playoffs in May.

Norwich put together an impressive run of form following Neil's arrival in January, and the Scot has said that they will not give up their position easily.

"We will be making sure all that hard work [to get promoted] does not go to waste, and by getting there, we certainly want to stay there and show everybody what we are capable of doing," he told Norwich City TV.

Norwich begin their Premier League season at home to Crystal Palace on August 8.
