Norwich boss Chris Hughton insists that his side will keep their feet on the ground despite making it 10 matches in a row without losing.

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has insisted that his side will not get carried away despite their recent good form.

The Canaries recorded a 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic earlier today to extend their unbeaten streak in the league to 10 matches.

This run has seen them rise to seventh in the Premier League table, but Hughton believes that his priority is still simply to avoid relegation.

"It is not being negative, but for a club like ourselves, it is about keeping as big as gap as you can between us and down," said Hughton.

"There is no shame in saying that, it is a reality for clubs like ourselves. But our form at the moment has deserved it.

"We are a team which has to work very hard for the points we get, so there will be no getting carried away."

Norwich's next match comes against West Bromwich Albion next Saturday.
