Irish winger James McClean starts in the Sunderland midfield for today's encounter at Norwich City.

James McClean has been recalled to the Sunderland starting lineup for this afternoon's trip to Norwich City.

The Irish winger has come in for injured captain Lee Cattermole, which in turn will see Sebastian Larsson move into a central role alongside Craig Gardner.

Hosting Norwich will start the encounter with Steven Whittaker at right-back, while Wes Hoolahan will play just behind lone striker and skipper Grant Holt.
