Nottingham Forest have revealed that new manager Dougie Freedman has signed an 18-month deal with the club.
The 40-year-old Scot took charge at the City Ground on Sunday, replacing Stuart Pearce.
Forest failed to confirm the length of Freedman's contract at the time, but they have now announced that he will stay with the club until summer 2016.
The team currently sits in 12th place in the Championship table following just one win in their last 10 games.
Freedman will manage Forest for the first time on Saturday when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion in the league.
