Nottingham Forest lodge bid for Wolves' Stephen Ward

Nottingham Forest reportedly fail to agree terms with Wolves' Stephen Ward, despite having a bid accepted.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly lodged a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers player Stephen Ward.

The Republic of Ireland international, who has played for Wolves since his move from Bohemians in 2007, is believed to be allowed to leave Molineux following reports that Forest have had a bid accepted.

While Forest managed to reach an agreement with their Championship rivals, it is understood that the club were unable to agree terms with Ward, according to The Telegraph.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Wolves could lose striker Kevin Doyle to Celtic if the Scottish outfit are forced to sell Gary Hooper.
