Jamaal Lascelles, Jamie Paterson sign new deals with Nottingham Forest

Jamaal Lascelles and Jamie Paterson both sign new four-and-a-half-year deals with Nottingham Forest.

Jamaal Lascelles and Jamie Paterson have both put pen to paper on new contracts at Nottingham Forest.

Defender Lascelles has been linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool this season but the 20-year-old has ignored the transfer rumours to commit his future to Forest by signing a four-and-a-half-year deal.

The Gunners were believed to have bid for Lascelles in 2011, while Everton were fined for making an illegal approach for the England youth international a year earlier.

Paterson, who joined the club from Walsall last summer, has impressed at the City Ground by finding the net 10 times in all competitions this season and his reward is also a four-and-a-half-year contract.

Forest are currently sixth in the Championship.
