Chris Kiwomya unsure over Notts County future

Chris Kiwomya admits that he is unsure over his future as Notts County manager.

Notts County manager Chris Kiwomya has admitted that his future with the club is up in the air following their 5-1 defeat to Leyton Orient.

Tuesday night's loss at the Matchroom Stadium means that County have taken just one point from their opening seven games of the League One season.

The Meadow Lane club are bottom of the table, and Kiwomya insists that results must improve if he is to remain in his job.

"I don't know if my future is secure," he told the Nottingham Post. "I can't be at the bottom of the table and say that.

"I've got to try to get this first win on Saturday [against Tranmere Rovers] and if we can get that we can get a bit of confidence back.

"I'm disappointed because we have got some experienced lads, and there's only so much I can do from the touchline. They have to take responsibility on the pitch, once they cross the line it's down to them."

Kiwomya became Notts County boss in February.
