The on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper has an unspecified injury.

Plymouth are assessing the fitness of goalkeeper Matt Macey ahead of their Sky Bet League One clash with Oxford.

Macey, on loan from Arsenal, was unable to play in the 1-1 draw with Burton due to an unknown injury.

If Macey is ruled out once again, Kyle Letheren will continue to deputise in only his second league appearance of the season.

Forward Joel Grant will undergo a late check on the hip injury he sustained against AFC Wimbledon on Boxing Day.

Oxford could welcome back Jamie Hanson from the dead leg he suffered last Tuesday.

If Hanson fails to recover in time, Sam Long is likely to continue in midfield.

Gavin Whyte (hamstring), James Henry (ankle) and Marcus Browne (foot) have been carrying injuries but were able to start the 2-0 defeat by Bristol Rovers.

Shandon Baptiste and Samir Carruthers are expected back from injury soon but Rob Hall and Jon Obika are long-term absentees.
