Kaid Mohamed has left Cheltenham Town to join Port Vale on a two-year deal.
Mohamed was a regular for the Robins last season, scoring seven goals in 47 appearances, but the winger has revealed that he was keen to make his mark in League One.
The 28-year-old told the club's official website: "I am excited, League One is a fresh start and a new challenge in my life.
"I had a good two years at Cheltenham, but I am looking forward to League One now.
"I've played for Swindon Town in League One, But I didn't really have a chance. I played about nine or 10 games, a couple of sub appearances, but this will be a better chance for me."
Port Vale were promoted to League One after finishing in third position in League Two last season.
