Seeking to end their three-game losing streak, Santa Clara play host to Sporting Lisbon at the Estadio de Sao Miguel in round nine of Primeira Liga.

The visitors head into the weekend fresh off the back of a disappointing 4-1 loss against Marseille in the Champions League and will be looking to quickly return to winning ways.

The visiting side head into the weekend fresh off the back of picking up their first Champions League victory this season and will be looking to keep the juggernaut rolling.

Buoyed by their European victory, Porto will return to Primeira Liga with sky-high confidence as they look to move to the top of the table. While Portimonense have enjoyed a solid start to the season, they have stumbled in recent weeks, losing two of their last three outings.

We predict a one-sided affair on Saturday with Porto claiming all three points.

The home side, who have enjoyed a stellar start to the season, head into the weekend unbeaten in 21 consecutive outings across all competitions and will look to continue in the same vein.

While Rio Ave will be looking to build on their victory over Santa Clara, they go up against a Benfica side who are unbeaten in their last 21 games across all competitions. We predict that Benfica will take the positives from their draw with Paris Saint-Germain to claim a comfortable win on Saturday.
