Blaise Matuidi disappointed with Monaco draw

Blaise Matuidi says that Paris Saint-Germain did not take their chances against Monaco on Sunday.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi has admitted that he felt disappointed after drawing with Monaco on Sunday.

The Ligue 1 champions were held to a 1-1 draw at Parc des Princes by the league leaders after Radamel Falcao cancelled out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's opener.

"It was a good game," Matuidi told reporters. "We put them in trouble and we had opportunities, but we could not pull it together.

"Nevertheless we can be happy with the performance. It was one of the best we have had since the beginning of the season. We are disappointed with the result but not the performance."

PSG travel to Valenciennes on Wednesday.
