Paris Saint-Germain looking to sign William Carvalho?

A report claims that Sporting Lisbon defensive midfielder William Carvalho is on the radar of Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined a raft of Premier League clubs by showing an interest in signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

The 23-year-old is thought to be a long-term target for Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, although no formal bid has yet been made.

A report in the Daily Star suggests that PSG are looking to bring the 13-cap Portugal international to the Parc des Princes, where he will help bolster les Parisiens' defensive midfield ranks.

Carvalho was crowned player of the tournament as Portugal won the Under-21s European Championships in the summer.
