Report: Edinson Cavani wants Premier League move

Paris Saint-Germain hitman and Arsenal target Edinson Cavani reportedly eyes up a January move to the Premier League.

Arsenal target Edinson Cavani has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants a move to the Premier League in January.

The Uruguay striker is yet to settle in the French capital after sealing a big-money move to Parc de Princes 15 months ago.

The Gunners are believed to have been monitoring the 27-year-old for some time and, according to The Metro, a switch has edged closer after Cavani expressed a desire to move to England.

However, the Ligue 1 champions are said to be reluctant to accept a loss on their investment and are willing to part company with him for £55m - the same fee they paid Napoli back in summer 2013.

Cavani marked his maiden season with PSG by netting 25 goals.
