Queens Park Rangers submit revised training ground application

QPR confirm that they have have submitted a revised planning application for a new training ground facility in Ealing.

Queens Park Rangers have submitted a revised planning application for a new training ground in Ealing.

The club hopes to build a purpose-built centre for its first team and academy, as well as a new community sports facility, at Warren Farm.

An initial application was submitted in 2013 and has been developed over the past 12 months. A decision regarding planning consent is expected to be made this summer.

"We are working closely with Populous and Ealing Council to ensure QPR has a state-of-the-art facility that brings the first team, academy and community together in a unique hub," director of football Les Ferdinand told the club's official website.

"QPR has always been a club that takes pride in its local community and we will ensure that bond is strengthened with this exciting move to Warren Farm."

QPR currently sit seven points adrift of safety in the Premier League table with three games left to play this season. They return to action on Sunday with a trip to Manchester City.
