Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp reveals that he "loves" Bobby Zamora and plans to partner the striker with Loic Remy when he returns from injury.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he plans to play Loic Remy alongside Bobby Zamora when the target man returns from injury.

Zamora has been out with a hip injury since November but is back in training and close to a first-team return.

New signing Remy made an instant impact for the Hoops last weekend, scoring on his debut in the 1-1 draw at West Ham United.

Redknapp believes that finding a way to partner the pair without losing the creative influence of Adel Taarabt will be key to QPR's chances of survival.

He told the Daily Mail: "Remy's movement is good, he's quick and he'll score goals for us I'm sure.

"I fancy him and Zamora together. I've got to find a way of playing them two, and then Taraabt, to get the best out of them.

"It will give us a bit of attacking threat. Taarabt could play in a diamond, in behind. If Bobby is fit it will make a big difference to us. I love him."

QPR are still four points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League despite their recent revival under Redknapp.
