Queens Park Rangers notch up a 5-0 victory over Kelantan in Asia with the likes of Bobby Zamora and Shaun Wright-Phillips getting on the score sheet.

Queens Park Rangers ran riot over Kelantan with a 5-0 victory in their second pre-season friendly in Asia today.

New R's goalkeeper Robert Green made his first-team debut for the West London outfit and impressed in the early stages of the match by making some vital saves from the home side.

Mark Hughes's side started on the front foot in the Shah Alam Stadium, with midfielder Adel Taarabt, who recently signed a new contract with the club, running the show in the first half and was disappointed not to make the breakthrough after a clear shot at goal went wide.

The home side came close to taking the lead but a mistimed header saved QPR from conceding a goal, which ultimately revved up the Premier League outfit to find the back of the net in the 17th minute courtesy of a strike from Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Hughes's men managed to see out the first half relatively unharmed, however striker Djibril Cisse was forced to leave the field through injury, which paved the way for new recruit Andy Johnson.

QPR doubled their lead swiftly after the break through youngster Michael Harriman, who swooped past the home side's defence and blasted the shot with his left foot into the back of the net.

The former Championship side continued their dominance by scoring two goals in quick succession with Jamie Mackie celebrating a 14-yard finish and Bobby Zamora converting a simple tap-in.

Helguson finished off the clash with a fifth goal, which came from a precise through ball from Ehmer, which allowed Helguson to slip in into the net with ease.
