Queens Park Rangers have made their 11th summer signing with the capture of goalkeeper Alex Smithies from Huddersfield Town.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Loftus Road after the two Championship clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
"QPR is the ideal opportunity for me. I have worked hard and now is the time for a new challenge," Smithies told the R's website.
"Being at a club that was recently in the Premier League, there is going to be a lot of expectation to push on and improve, and I think I will thrive off that."
Smithies was Huddersfield's longest-serving player, having made 272 starts since making his debut in 2008.
