Stuart McCall: 'We should have scored 10 against Cowdenbeath'

Stuart McCall says that Rangers could have scored 10 goals in their 4-1 Scottish Championship victory over Cowdenbeath.

Stuart McCall has said that Rangers should have matched Hearts's 10-0 victory over Cowdenbeath this afternoon.

Rangers left it late to grab a 4-1 victory over the relegation battlers, with three goals in the final six minutes, but had 24 shots throughout the match.

"I thought there were again some really good performances by a lot of individuals. We could have made things easier for ourselves and we could have been a lot more goals up than we were," McCall told the club's official website.

"I mean without being disrespectful we probably could have matched Hearts' score if we had had our shooting boots on. But all in all it was a really good day."

The victory sees Rangers move level on points with second-placed Hibernian, while Cowdenbeath remain in ninth in the Scottish Championship table.
