Undefeated Rangers march on

Rangers edge closer to achieving an unbeaten Scottish League One campaign after beating Forfar Athletic 3-0 at Ibrox this evening.

Rangers moved a step closer to achieving an unbeaten Scottish League One campaign this season by beating Forfar Athletic 3-0 at Ibrox tonight.

Goals from Ian Black, Bilel Mohsni and Dean Shiels proved enough for the division champions to claim all three points and move within four games of recording an undefeated league season.

Ally McCoist's men should have gone ahead on 38 minutes through Jon Daly, who was slipped in on goal by Nicky Law but thrashed wide of the mark from a good position.

The Glasgow outfit tried in vain to edge ahead in the contest, before Black broke the deadlock in style on 68 minutes by firing a half-volley into the top corner.

Mohsni doubled the advantage shortly after with a close-range diving header, before Shiels struck in the closing stages as the Gers remained on course to climb out of Scotland's third tier without losing a game.
