Report: Ex-Manchester City defender Reece Wabara training with Rangers

Former Manchester City defender and youth team captain Reece Wabara is training with Rangers following his departure from Doncaster Rovers, according to reports.

Former Manchester City defender Reece Wabara is training with Rangers in a bid to land a deal at the Ibrox club, according to reports.

The 23-year-old right-back, who left League One outfit Doncaster Rovers in the summer, was a former youth team captain skipper at the Etihad.

According to the Daily Record, Wabara arrived in Glasgow over the weekend and will train with the Gers first-team squad this week at Murray Park.


Wabara had spells at Ipswich Town, Blackpool and Oldham Athletic before joining Rovers on a permanent contract last term.
