Reading defender Stephen Kelly has insisted that the club can beat the drop this season despite losing their last three matches.
The run of defeats has dropped the Royals into the relegation zone in the Premier League table, but the Republic of Ireland international is not losing hope.
"With what's left of the season and what's at stake, you understand why there is such emphasis placed on these games. It's all to play for - there's ten games left and it's up for grabs to stay in this league," he told the club's official website.
"All we can do is concentrate on ourselves - you can't be hoping on results elsewhere, we just need to do the best we can, perform to the highest level, pick up as many points between now and the end of the season and hopefully that will be enough to stay up."
Next up for Reading is a home tie against Aston Villa on Saturday.
