Reading manager Brian McDermott insists that he is happy with his squad and doesn't expect any new arrivals at the Madejski Stadium.

Brian McDermott has suggested that he will not be looking to sign any more players during the transfer window.

The Royals have prepared for their first Premier League campaign by bringing in six new players and McDermott has hinted that there will be no more new arrivals at the Madejski Stadium.

McDermott told Sky Sports News: "We're delighted with them. We have tried to get our business done as early as we possibly could. We finished the season quite early last season, so we're happy with what we've done.

"We are not overly looking now. We've got two players for each position. If something comes later on in the window that we feel is good for us, then we might do something."

Reading secured promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship title last season.
