Reading's Adam Le Fondre says that the club will not stop fighting for Premier League survival while it remains mathematically possible.

Adam Le Fondre has said that Reading will not give up the fight for Premier League survival until it is mathematically impossible.

The Royals are at the bottom of the table, eight points from safety with just six games left to play.

The striker told Sky Sports News: "We've got to start expressing ourselves on the ball a bit more, and we'll pick ourselves up and go again. It's not in our make-up to give in.

"Never say never and until it's mathematically impossible, we still believe. We'll always battle to the end, that's what the fans expect from us and it's what we expect from ourselves.

"We're paid professionals and we'll give our all for the cause. We've got Liverpool here next weekend and we love games like that, so we'll welcome the challenge and try to make it horrible for them."

Reading have not won in the league since the first week in February.
