Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has insisted that he is not "envious" of Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the Argentine, speaking at a press conference ahead of the Champions League clash with Los Blancos this week, branded Ronaldo "a great player".

"Ronaldo is a great player but I've got nothing to be envious of," the former Manchester City striker told reporters.

Victory for Real Madrid in Turin would ensure the Spanish outfit's spot in the knockout stage of the competition.
