Real Madrid will resume their La Liga campaign after the two-week international break with a home game against Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho's side are unbeaten in five competitive matches and have picked up seven points from their last three league fixtures, which included a 2-2 draw with leaders Barcelona at Camp Nou.
Currently placed fifth in the table with 11 points from seven matches, eight points off the pace, Madrid will aspire to maintain their unbeaten record at home in La Liga this season.
Meanwhile, Celta are still searching for their first point on the road, having lost all three away matches so far in 2012-13.
The Galician outfit are 12th in the league standings at the moment with nine points from seven matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
However, Paco Herrera's side will head to the Spanish capital with confidence following their 2-0 victory over Sevilla at home just before the international break.
Madrid will be without full-backs Marcelo, Fabio Coentrao and Alvaro Arbeloa, all of whom suffered injuries while on international duties.
Midfielder Sami Khedira and striker Gonzalo Higuain too picked up knocks, and central defender Raphael Varane is nursing a muscular problem although he could regain full fitness by Saturday.
This means that 22-year-old Nacho could make his La Liga debut for Los Blancos this season either at centre-back or at left-back.
