Barcelona have reportedly joined the battle for the signature of Ajax winger Antony.
The 21-year-old arrived in Amsterdam at the beginning of the 2020-21 campaign and registered nine goals and eight assists in their Eredivisie triumph last season, before catching eyes at the beginning of the new term with two league goals.
Antony's form attracted rumoured interest from across Europe, and Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were tipped as front-runners to secure the winger.
According to Spanish outlet Sport.es, Catalan giants Barcelona have now joined the race for the Brazilian and could plan a January offer.
Such a link comes amidst Barca's ongoing contract negotiations with winger Ousmane Dembele, who sees his deal expire next summer but is yet to come to an agreement with the club.
