Borussia Dortmund director Hans-Joachim Watzke has admitted that Erling Braut Haaland would be interested in a move to Real Madrid.
Haaland was heavily linked with a variety of teams over the summer, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid all being rumoured to sign him.
Despite all the transfer speculation, the Norwegian striker stayed at Dortmund and has made a prolific start to the season, scoring eight goals in all competitions.
However, Dortmund general manager Watzke has admitted that a move to Real Madrid is something that interests the striker.
"He is an independent personality. Anyway, at some point, he will play for one of the best clubs in the world, although he is already playing in one of the best clubs in the world. But I know, of course, that Real Madrid seduces him," Watzke told Sport1.
"Some experts say: 'They are in the stock market, they are going to have to sell Haaland in the summer.' The decision to sell to someone in our club is made by the board only. It has not yet been decided if he will actually leave next summer. We will see.
"The ball is in Erling's court. I have a good relationship with Mino Raiola. It is not correct to believe that Mino only thinks about money. He also thinks about what is better for the player."
Haaland's contract does not expire with Borussia Dortmund until 2024, although he does have a release clause of €75m (£64.4m) which reportedly came into effect at the start of September.
