Sergio Ramos is reportedly close to leaving Real Madrid as a free agent as talks over a new deal with the La Liga giants have broken down.
The long-serving defender, who is into his 16th season at the Bernabeu, is out of contract in the summer and is believed to be a target for Paris Saint-Germain.
Madrid had been hopeful of persuading Ramos to prolong his stay in the Spanish capital, but Diario AS claims that negotiations have gone cold.
It is suggested that while Los Blancos are prepared to break their protocol of offering one-year extensions to players in Ramos's age bracket, they are not willing to match the centre-back's wage demands.
Ramos has been free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs since January 1, but he is not thought to have held talks with any teams so far.
