Defender Marcelo says that he remains happy at Real Madrid, despite alleged interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Marcelo has suggested that he intends to continue his career at Real Madrid.

The left-back is nearing the end of his 12th campaign at the Bernabeu, but the Brazil international has spent the season in and out of the starting lineup.

That has resulted in speculation regarding a potential switch to Paris Saint-Germain, but it appears that the 30-year-old would prefer to stay with the Spanish giants.

Marcelo told BeIN Sports: "I'm going to leave, am I? I don't need to talk about my future because everyone knows the happiness I show when I wear this shirt.

"Real Madrid is my home. You have to sweat for this shirt and keep this crest on the top [of the world]. I never stopped supporting my teammates, even when I wasn't playing."

Marcelo still has over three years remaining on his contract.
