Real Madrid full-back Marcelo has reportedly told the club that he wants to join Juventus during the January transfer window.
Marcelo was linked with a move to the Italian champions earlier this summer, and speculation that he is keen to rejoin close friend and former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin has now resurfaced once again.
Tuttosport claims that Marcelo is unhappy at Madrid and wants to leave when the transfer window reopens, with Juve his preferred destination.
Club president Florentino Perez is understood to be angry with Marcelo's demands to be sold, but would be willing to accept an offer of between €50m (£44.1m) and €60m (£52.9m).
The report suggests that Juventus would meet that valuation if they are able raise funds by selling Alex Sandro to a Premier League club.
Madrid have lost four and won none of their last five games across all competitions, but Marcelo gave manager Julen Lopetegui a vote of confidence following Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Levante.
Marcelo joined Madrid in 2007 and has gone on to make 460 appearances for the club across all competitions.
