Report: Real Madrid closing on Lin Liangming signing

Real Madrid are reportedly closing in on a move for Guangzhou R&F midfielder Lin Liangming on a long-term deal.

The Under-19 China international has been strongly linked with the biggest clubs in his home country in recent weeks, but Los Blancos are said to have stolen a march.

According to AS, the Spanish outfit are on the verge of announcing the signing of the 18-year-old for a figure believed to be in the region of £210,000.

Real Madrid will travel to China for the second leg of their pre-season tour next week and it is understood that the formalities of the deal will then be completed.

The Spanish club's most recent signings have been with one eye on the future.
