Roma have announced that Alessandro Florenzi has penned a new five-year contract.
Florenzi has spent his entire career at the Stadio Olimpico, but doubts had begun to emerge over his future due to just a year remaining on his contract.
However, the Italian giants have revealed that the 27-year-old has now committed his future to the club with a fresh deal lasting until 2023.
The development comes as a boost to Roma, who are making changes this summer due to the high-profile departures of Alisson Becker and Radja Nainggolan.
Florenzi has scored a total of 24 goals from 214 appearances in all competitions.
