The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Granata after a number of impressive displays.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma want to sign Darmian in this month's transfer window and officials from both clubs have met to discuss a transfer.
Darmian joined Torino in 2011 and has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
