Juventude vs. Atletico Mineiro (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Title-chasing Atletico Mineiro continue their quest for Brasileiro glory on Sunday, as they meet mid-table Juventude at Estadio Alfredo Jaconi.
Having won seven league games on the spin - and dramatically progressed in the Copa Libertadores - the visitors are in scintillating form and will expect to return to Belo Horizonte with maximum points.
We say: Juventude 0-2 Atletico Mineiro
While Juventude have found a means of keeping things tight and picking up the occasional win through the finishing of Matheus Peixoto, they are stepping up in class this weekend - with Atletico more than capable of breaching their back line on several occasions.
With their recent cup defeat only a blip on the radar - as progress was sealed in any case - the Alvinegro's soaring confidence should see them past a home side who are troubled by a number of missing men.

Santos vs. Corinthians (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Following their first win in four Campeonato Brasileiro games last week, Santos welcome mid-table counterparts Corinthians to Estadio Urbano Caldeira on Sunday.
Separated by just two points in the Serie A standings, the Sao Paulo rivals are both seeking a win to stay in the hunt for Copa Libertadores qualification at the end of the campaign.
We say: Santos 1-1 Corinthians
Santos are far short of peak form, but are still favourites for this Sao Paulo derby, and will be tasked with taking the initiative. However, in Kaio Jorge's lamented absence, they certainly have fewer options in attack, so may struggle to break down their local rivals.
Despite leaking three goals against fearless Flamengo last time out, Corinthians still have one of the better defensive records in the division, so are capable of grinding out a draw if they can find a goal from somewhere.

Ceara vs. Atletico GO (Sunday, 10.15pm)

Ceara will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run in the Brasileiro to 11 matches when they host Atletico Goianiense on Sunday evening.
The home side have collected 22 points from their 14 matches this season to sit seventh in the table, while Atletico have picked up 19 points from the same number of games to occupy ninth position.
We say: Ceara 2-1 Atletico Goianiense
Atletico are capable of making this a difficult contest for Ceara, but we are finding it difficult to look past the home side due to their strong form. Guto's side were impressive against Fortaleza last time out, and we are expecting them to put another three points on the board courtesy of a narrow success.

Flamengo vs. Internacional (Sunday, 10.15pm)
© Reuters
Having shot up to fifth in the Serie A standings, Flamengo will put their seven-match winning run on the line against Internacional on Sunday, at the Maracana.
After a difficult spell in which they crashed out of continental competition and picked up just one Campeonato Brasileiro point from a possible six, the 15th-placed visitors will hope to upset the odds in Rio de Janeiro.
We say: Flamengo 3-1 Internacional
Now they have hit a rich seam of form, the goals will not stop flowing for Flamengo, as their star-studded front line shreds defences across the land.
Inter have proven a rather flaky prospect this term so will not be able to resist for long, and their winless streak is set to be extended to a fourth game following a chastening away defeat.
