Senegal head to the Africa Cup of Nations armed with Demba Ba, Papiss Cisse and Moussa Sow. Here, Sports Mole previews the next few weeks for Amara Traore's side.

Senegal romped to qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations in a group which contained the heavily-favoured Cameroon.

During that process, Amara Traore's side scored 16 goals from six matches while only conceding two.

They head into the tournament with a near fully-fit squad and will be expected to qualify from a group that consists of Libya, Equatorial Guinea and Zambia.

Group: A

Players to watch out for:

Demba Ba

Having been highly impressive during his stint in the Premier League with West Ham United and Newcastle United, Ba is one of the favourites to be the leading goalscorer in the competition. The 26-year-old showed that he is in good form in front of goal last week by scoring against Sudan in a friendly.

Moussa Sow

While all the current talk is about Ba and his Newcastle teammate Papiss Cisse, coach Traore is going to find it hard to leave out Sow. The centre-forward was Ligue 1's leading goalscorer last season as he helped Lille to lift the title. The 25-year-old made a habit of scoring important goals during qualification.

Previous best: Runners-up 2002

Odds to win outright: 6/1

Sports Mole says: Semi-final
