Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr are reportedly preparing to launch an audacious bid to sign one of Arsenal's key players in the summer transfer window.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are reportedly prepared to launch a move to sign Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

Al-Nassr is currently home to a number of top names, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brozovic and Sadio Mane.

Ronaldo is out of contract at the end of the season, although Al-Nassr are keen to agree a new deal with the Portugal international.

While they are working to keep Ronaldo, the Saudi Arabian club are also scouring the market for more potential high-profile additions.

It appears that Al-Nassr's transfer search has taken them to North London, with Stefano Pioli's side keen to sign one of the key members of Mikel Arteta's squad.

Al-Nassr plotting Gabriel move

According to talkSPORT, Al-Nassr are preparing to launch a 'stunning move' to sign Gabriel in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report suggests that Al-Nassr have already made contact with the Brazilian, who is currently under contract until the summer of 2027.

Club officials are willing to treble Gabriel's current earnings by offering him a salary in the region of €20m (£16.8m).

Gabriel is said to be open to joining the Saudi Pro League at some point in the future, although he remains focused on his current commitments in North London.

Arsenal set mammoth asking price

The Gunners are determined to fend off interest in one of their most prized assets, which is why they are likely to demand around £100m to even consider sanctioning Gabriel's departure.

Rather than offloading Gabriel, Arsenal are keen to agree a new contract with Gabriel to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Any contract negotiations could be overseen by Andrea Berta, who is set to become Arsenal's new sporting director.

Meanwhile, Gabriel is currently away with the Brazil side preparing for World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.

Once he has fulfilled his international commitments, Gabriel will return to England ahead of Arsenal's next Premier League game against Fulham on April 1.
