Jay Rodriguez: 'Southampton can make the Premier League top two'

Jay Rodriguez believes that Southampton can do even better despite their brilliant start to the Premier League season.

Jay Rodriguez believes that there is no limit to what Southampton can achieve in the Premier League this season after their impressive start.

Having returned to the top flight last term, Saints find themselves third in the table following a 4-1 win over Hull City at St Mary's on Saturday.

"We put effort and hard work into it," Rodriguez told reporters. "It showed in the result there that we deserved it.

"We went to third and we still believe we can be higher. There are no limits for us, really. We've just got to keep impressing and working hard."

Southampton's current run is their best-ever start to a season in the top division.
