Ronald Koeman confirms Tonny Vilhena interest

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman admits that he is keen to sign Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena.

Ronald Koeman has confirmed that he is interested in bringing Tonny Vilhena to Southampton before the transfer window closes on Monday.

The Feyenoord midfielder was linked with a move to Southampton earlier this week, while Benfica striker Filip Djuricic could also move to St Mary's on loan.

The manager told reporters: "We are interested in Vilhena because he is not happy at Feyenoord. It is a good chance that one of the two players could join, and maybe both players."

Vilhena is viewed as a replacement for Jack Cork, who completed his move to Swansea City earlier today.
