Marc Bartra pleased with Spain performance

Spain defender Marc Bartra says that La Roja have "taken a step forward" after beating Luxembourg on Sunday evening.

Spain centre-back Marc Bartra has revealed his delight after La Roja returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Luxembourg in last night's Euro 2016 qualifier.

Last week, Spain lost 2-1 in Slovakia, but Bartra believes that his nation have now taken "a step forward".

"It seemed like things weren't working out but we've taken a step forward," Bartra told AS.

"We have to be clear and say things can happen like they did against Slovakia, but we've done well here and have a good feeling."

Barcelona defender Bartra was called into the Spain squad following an injury to Sergio Ramos.
