Spain striker Alvaro Morata has admitted that he 'must do better' for his country, despite scoring on his debut against Ukraine.
The Juventus forward's first-half strike was enough to clinch all three points for his national side in Spain's Euro 2016 qualifier, but Morata believes that his overall performance was disappointing.
"Well, I want to keep playing games. But it was not my best game," the 22-year-old told reporters.
"I think it could have been better. I'm happy because we won, but I have to work. I can be even better. I am not that self-critical, I'm just realistic. I could have scored two goals.
"It was very tough and very physical. You have to play these games and win, which many think is easy, but what matters are the points."
The result keeps the former European champions second in Group C, as they trail leaders Slovakia by three points.
