How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against RB Leipzig

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up in Wednesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.

Tottenham Hotspur's Champions League campaign resumes on Wednesday with the visit of RB Leipzig in the last-16 first leg.

Spurs enter the game on the back of a positive run of form after winning three in a row in all competitions and going seven matches without defeat.

This will be their first meeting with Leipzig, who are into the knockout stages of UEFA's flagship competition for the first time and are flying high in the Bundesliga.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Jose Mourinho's side could line up in Madrid.

Tottenham will be without striker Harry Kane all the way up to the final should they make it that far due to a hamstring injury sustained against Southampton on New Year's Day.

Son Heung-min has once again stepped up in Kane's absence by scoring six times in his last five outings, including a brace against Aston Villa last time out.

The South Korea international will likely start on the right of the front three, with Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn in line to join him up top.

Moussa Sissoko is Tottenham's only other confirmed absentee, but Erik Lamela and Juan Foyth sat out the Villa game with similar groin injuries and are touch and go for this match.

In more positive news for Mourinho, Ben Davies returned from injury at the weekend and should retain his place at left-back, while on the opposite flank it is a choice between Japhet Tanganga and the more experienced Serge Aurier.

After starting on the bench at Villa Park, Giovanni Lo Celso is in line for a recall.
